There are several different car and passenger ferries to get to the Isle of Wight. We recommend a car for this property to make the most of your holiday. However Ventnor beach and town are all within walking distance.

Ventnor town is a short level walk around the corner with its quirky shops, supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops.

Had a wonderful stay here, the house was beautifully decorated and furnished and the view over looking the sea was stunning. Despite the house sleeping a large number it still feels very cosy which I loved! The location was brilliant, just a short walk to the shops/restaurants and the beach. Will certainly be staying here again!
The location is amazing. Walked town to beach 4 times in week and my granddaughter who is 3 loved the paddling pool. Great for walking into town and would recommend The Rex Italian restaurant where we ate twice.
Great family house where we had grand parents, my daughter and her family and my son and his family. Loved sitting around table in dining room and the lounge where the views are amazing.
Loved the new kitchen and garden has been improved too.
Isle of Wight is like a second home to us and staying in Ventnor is the best place to stay.
I highly recommend this house! We went with our friends and it felt like home away from home. With excellent facilities and lovely decor all carefully though out. Family and child friendly house. Kids say they miss it and want to go back.
Amazing location right on the cliff. Gorgeous character house with stunning sea and hill views from the bedrooms. Close to shops and pebbled beach. There's also a small playground on the green cliff right opposite which the kids loved. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There was plenty of space and everything we needed was provided, including kitchen equipment, towels, beach toys for children, toilet paper, etc... We loved all the nautical trinkets and decorations around the house, it really was a home from home experience. My 3 grandchildren absolutely loved being at the top of the house in the bunk room and having all 4 floors to explore and play on. The basement shower was very popular too. Relaxing in the living room was great, with the amazing view and plenty of very comfy seating. We made full use of the lovely new kitchen and enjoyed being able to sit together for meals in the dining room. Being so close to the sea front and the town centre was great too, we loved the walks along the coast and the children loved the rocks as well as the splash pool down by the beach. The little park on the green in front of the house was handy too.

Dudley House is a beautiful house set in a beautiful location, overlooking an expansive sea.
The house had all the amenities you need for a short or long stay. It is well looked after, with off road parking.
Location is perfect, with a short walk to the beach and shops.
Ian and Rosemary maintained good contact throughout the booking. They were warm and polite in messaging.
I would return to Dudley house with my wife and child.
